Journalist/Actor

After completing PGD from English Journalism at IIMC in 2015, my first newsroom was Financial Express (Digital) as a trainee journalist. Later, my passion for TV news journalism landed me in the hustling lanes of breakings, PTCs, and then, in 2017, I joined the BBC World Service as a broadcast journalist. I graduated in chemistry (H) from Delhi University.

As an actor, I prepared myself for it through a 3 months course at National School of Drama, joined Kshitij Theatre Group in Delhi.

I devoted my four years to the BBC, where I extensively covered sports, socio-economic issues, and even reported from conflict-zones like the Jamia protest.

I also exclusively interviewed Ashish Nehra, Gautam Gambhir, Neeraj Chopra, Rashid Khan, and IPS Suhas Yathiraj for the BBC. I also covered the Tokyo Olympics, Hockey World Cup 2018.

In 2022, took a leap of faith and switched to independent journalism.
I got the opportunity to report stories for TRT World, USA Today, IndiaSpend, The Wire, The Print, and Sportskeeda, and completed a project with the University of Washington.

Apart from my journalistic career, I also acted in films like Chappak, India’s Most Wanted, Serious Men and did ads for Ferns n Petals. I became the brand ambassador for PNB ONE app.
